Will Smith Is A ‘Student Of All Religions’
June 23, 2008
Will Smith has always basically been a ‘closet Scientologist’. But recently he hinted he really is a student of the Church of Scientology, after revealing he entrusts his fate to “patterns of the universe”.
The actor has always denied following the controversial faith, which was founded by science-fiction author L. Ron Hubbard, despite best pal Tom Cruise being a prominent member. He recently described himself as a “student of all religions” claiming:
”I don’t necessarily believe in organized religion. I love my God, my higher power, but it is mine and mine alone.”
However, during an appearance on The Today Show on Monday, Smith confessed he looks to the heavens when plotting his future saying:
”Choreographed is a rough word. I study the patterns of the universe. I watch how things happen, because they happen the same way over and over again. Definitely plot it out in advance. But I would say, as far as hitting the mark for exactly where I’m aiming, that’s kind of rare. There’s a flow of the universe that I’ve grown to know just how to go with it.”
Lets not forget the Scientology school he is funding for his children to attend..

Darn, I thought he was smarter than to get involved with a dangerous cult. too much success?

Nothing he said makes me think he’s a Scientologist in any way. Seems quite rational, in fact.

Why would he be funding and sending his own kids to school that teaches Scientology? He stated outright just after he became friends with Tom Cruise that he was not a Scientologist, now he doesn’t really answer the question anymore. He went from a committed Baptist to a student of all religions just since he met Tom. Interesting…
