Val Kilmer Interested In Running For Governor Of New Mexico
February 6, 2009

Val Kilmer, 49, just may be taking a break from acting to take on the job as Governor.
The Associated Press is reporting that Kilmer hinted this week that he may make a bid for governor of New Mexico.
Kilmer, a registered Democrat, has been a New Mexico resident for more than 20 years and they say he’s pondering the leadership position when Democrat Bill Richardson’s second term ends in 2010.
“I’m just looking for ways to be contributive,” Kilmer said. “And if that ends up being where I can make a substantial contribution, then I’ll run.”
No decision has been made yet, Kilmer says:
“It’s really day to day.”
I just took a peek at his IMDb page and he has a pretty full schedule, I don’t know if he could squeeze in politics.
