Tyra Banks debut novel ‘Modelland’ has made the New York Times Bestseller List, and currently ranked No. 2 of the nation’s top-selling books.
Modelland is the first in a series that is being labled ‘True Blood meets Top Model’ and Tyra says:
“A work of fiction that honors my love of books and fantasy, and also lets me poke fun at things I’ve seen in the real world…Many of the characters will be inspired by some of the models I’ve known, both nice and ‘ice.’”
A movie may be up next after BAnks claims she was approached by a major Hollywood producer shortly after announcing plans to publish the book.
She says:
‘I would love to open up the Modelland casting to the world. I’m looking for an every-girl to possibly play one of the characters in the story.’
