Desmotivaciones

Universal announced they made a deal with the screenwriting duo Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, who co-wrote Transformers, Mission Impossible 3, and Star Trek, to bring Van Helsing back to the big screen. Well along with these two Universal has also signed Tom Cruise on to play the vampire hunter from Transylvania in the upcoming reboot of the film.

Back in 2004 when Hugh Jackman starred as Van Helsing the movie made a cool $300 million at the box office, Universal is hoping to top that with their reboot. I just never pictured Cruise as a vampire slayer, but he did to an awesome job in Mission Impossible 3.

I guess we’ll have to judge for ourselves when we see him slaying vampires on the big screen and for that we’ll have to wait two whole years. The deal inked between Universal and the super duo writing team is a two year project.
