The Lion King 3D Tops The Weekend Box Office

Who would have thought a 17 year old animated movie would make such a comeback at the box office? The Lion King, released in 3D, topped the weekend box office earning $8.8 million as of Friday. This just proves once again that kids rule the box office, as if we didn’t already know this. If you want to see this movie in 3D you’d better hurry it’s only in theaters for a limited time.
