The ‘Dude, You’re Getting A Dell’ Dude Is Now Working As A Bartender

 

Oh how quickly things can change.  Remember the oh so annoying ‘Steven the Dell Dude’ aka Ben Curtis, famous just a few years ago for his famous ‘Dude, you’re getting a Dell!’ ad campaign?  Well as you may or not be aware, he was arrested shortly after his ads hit it big from attempting to buy marijuana on Manhattan’s Lower East Side in 2003.  He was then dropped from Dell.  Dude, you’re lucky you didn’t get a cell!

Ben is now working as a waiter/bartender at Tortilla Flats in New York trying to earn a living.  Although he went from doing nothing and bringing in tons of cash from Dell sales to waiting/bartending, Ben’s taking it in stride, saying “There were times when I made boatloads of money as an actor, but here I can be myself.”

Ummm yeah…….But never fear, he is still working hard trying to make it big again, this time he’s hoping to score big with his band, Whale, which he says has “the green light,” but they have ”decided to take a little time off to record our EP and package ourselves properly.”
