Oscar nominee Terrence Howard is being sued for $5 million from composer Tex Allen who claims Howard attacked him backstage at the Broadway play they worked on together earlier this year.

In the lawsuit Allen claims Howard punched him in the face while he rehearsed music for ‘Cat on a Hot Tin Roof’ in January.

In legal papers obtained by the New York Post, the composer, who gives no explanation for the alleged assault, claims the incident ruined his music playing, and he is seeking the huge sum in damages.

Howard starred alongside James Earl Jones and Phylicia Rashad in the New York revival of Tennessee Williams’ classic play.

  1. Tracey Allen Says:

The musician is my father and this actually occurred. It is NO allegation! Someone like Terrence Howard needs to know that you can’t go around punching people and being unprofessional.

My only question is how did a punch in the face ruin this man’s music career and what are the details of what happened to cause Terrence to punch him, if he, in fact, did do that. And if it was so devastating why did it take so long to file a suit? Sounds fishy to me.
