She says the video, like the song, stems from a very emotional place in her life:

“[It’s] about that moment where you realize the person you thought was going to be Prince Charming and sweep you off your feet is really not going to sweep you off your feet.

He sweeps somebody else off their feet and it’s going to be something that you’re going to have to get over.
