Steven Tyler Back In Rehab

Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, 61, has entered a rehab facility to treat an addiction to painkillers that he has taken to help deal with 10 years of performance injuries.
In a statement released on Tuesday Tyler said:
“I love Aerosmith; I love performing as the lead singer in Aerosmith. I am grateful for all of the support and love I am receiving and am committed to getting things taken care of.”
The band had to cancel a summer tour in August after Tyler fell off the stage during a performance in South Dakota and broke his left shoulder.
Dr. Brian McKeon, the doc who is treating Tyler, says that orthopedic injuries over the past decade have left him with severe chronic pain that will require surgeries on his knees and feet.

I like Steve even if I find him weird sometimes. His energy level everytime he performs is just astounding. I hope he recovers fast.

It’s not Aerosmith without Steven Tyler but he’s a mess. He needs to take care of himself and Aerosmith needs to finally split up and those members that are capable should focus on side projects.

i love steven dearly, he has shown class, integrity and above all true grit, He doesnt have to apologize or make good with the rest of hhis always been, jealous band for wanting to fly solo for a while. He has a disease and i think he gets so insecure around the guys that his guilt gets the best of him, because hes vulnerable, nice and not to mention ill with the same thing they all have had, So yea boys just kick him when hes down. THERE IS NO AEROSMITH W-OUT STEVEN, Joe, and there are no fans or record deals for you ugly geriatrichs that have been spoiled and lucky he hasnt FRESHENED UP AEROSMITH, BY DROPPING YOUR BORING ASSES AND REPLACING YOU WITH guys who are younger and easier to look at. That would take one concert and you wouuld never even be miSteven is more then the lead singer, he gave u your life and you repay him consistently by your dis-loyalty and so leave him behind to create a new band.
