Steve Carrell: Just Happy To Be Working

 

Steve Carell, 45, says he’s picky when it comes to the movie roles he picks.  He jumps at the chance to appear in any film he is offered, good or bad, because he’s always honored to even be considered.

 ”Someone offers me a part in a film and I take it. Clearly there’s been no rhyme or reason or anything. Am I getting paid? Absolutely. I’m always astounded to be offered any sort of role so I’m like, ‘All right, I’m going to play a rapist? Cool. I always wanted to play a rapist.’ So there hasn’t been a career path in that sense; it’s just kind of been the luck of the draw.”
