Snoop Dogg Goes Country

 

Rapper Snoop Dogg has delivered on his promise to embrace country music after releasing a western-style music video.  (Continue Reading below to check it out)

The video for his new country single My Medicine features a cowboy-hat wearing Snoop, who dedicates the video to the late Johnny Cash, branding him “a real American gangster.”

The music video, which features country stars Willie Nelson, Julianne Hough and Brad Paisley, was inspired by the hip-hop star’s appearance at the Country Music Television (CMT) Awards in April.

He said of the event:

 ”I went to the CMT Music Awards and I got into the spirit of wanting to do something different.

“Country music is the most underrated music in the world.”
