Slumdog Millionaire’s Freida Pinto May Be The Next Bond Girl

 

Slumdog Millionaire’s Freida Pinto is rumored to be the next Bond Girl.

Director Sam Mendes, who has recently been in the news for his split with Kate Winslet, is currently casting Bond girls for the 23rd installment of the 007 series and reportedly wants Pinto to take on the role.

A source says:

“Sam (Mendes) has been talking about Bond for months now and is so excited about it. The project has been in the pipeline for months and Freida was always the dream Bond girl, but initially she was nervous about accepting it.”

“This is going to be the most ambitious 007 yet. Sam plans to reinvent the genre. Peter Morgan, who wrote ‘The Queen’, has penned the first draft of the script and it promises to be visually stunning.”

Daniel Craig will once again star as the famous British agent and the film will be in 3-D.

Olivia Wilde is reportedly in talks to star as the second Bond girl.

The latest James Bond film is slated for a 2011 release.
