Simon Cowell Quitting American Idol?

Rumor has it that the popular or not so popular American Idol judge, Simon Cowell, is prepping up to quit as a judge on the big time popular U.S. reality show because his schedule is too hectic.
On top of being the top judge everyone loves to hate on American Idol, Cowell also fronts Britain’s Got Talent and The X Factor and heads a record label.
He says he makes up to four transatlantic flights a week just to keep up with his crazy schedule.
He tells British tabloid the Daily Mirror:
“I don’t want to come over as whiney because I am very grateful that I have got these jobs. But there is a point where I am not sure we can keep this schedule up.
“It takes longer and longer to make these shows because you have to put more into them, and I am not sure we can sustain me doing three shows a year, with the record label and the TV production company.
“Most people do one show a year and I do three and they involve a lot of travelling. One may have to go. I don’t know which one. That is the problem, I like all of them. I can’t imagine not doing Britain’s Got Talent and I can’t imagine not doing X Factor.
“But I guess America is more likely to go because I have got one year under contract. Maybe that will be the end.”
How can he give up American Idol? It would never be the same without him…Maybe he’s just saying this stuff because he wants to hear that about himself

The show’s stale and just needs to die a natural death. Simon is supposedly leaving in three years and AI will probably be gone before then anyway.

he deffinatly needs to stay.. american idol will not be the same with
him. simon kera and randy need to stay and paula needs to go.. shes
just a nut head.. yall need to realize what she does during those
shows are you serious shes like drugged up on something sorry to be
honest but it seems to me she makes up stupid shit on the show to make
the contestants feel good.. when most of them suck.. she needs to go
simon im sorry to hear about your busy scheduale but you need to stay
here in america and be with us for as long as american idol will be around

If Simon leaves the show will not last. Simon tells it like it is and gets it right almost %100 of the time. I hope you stay Simon but I do understand that your life is hectic with traveling so much. You have to take care of yourself too!
