See Who Won American Idol Season 9

 

Tonight was the big finale for Season 9 of American Idol.

The final two, Crystal Bowersox and Lee Dewyze battled it out last night, Tuesday May 25, on the American Idol final live performance show each taking on three songs leading us up to tonight, the big Americn idol Finale.

All the past Idol winners came out on stage to sing ‘We Are One’. This season’s Top 10 performed some songs from their upcoming tour.  The finale was also jam packed with performances from superstars like Christina Aguilera, Alanis Morissette, Carrie Underwood, Bret Michaels, Chicago, Janet Jackson and Joe Cocker.

There was also a special farewell section, lead by Paula Abdul, to Simon Cowell since this will be his last time on the show.

Anyways, the winner of Season 9 American Idol is:
