Scarlett Johansson would love to make a Black Widow spin off movie. She says since we’ve gotten to know her character by seeing her on the big screen in Iron Man 2 and The Avengers now it’s time to get a look at the back story of Black Widow:
“I love her origin story. I think it’s just such a riveting one. It’s just steeped in history and the richness to shoot in Russia, perhaps,” she told The Huffington Post.
I would love to see this happen, all the other Avengers have already had their spotlight moment. I just hope if the movie does get made it wont follow in the footsteps of previous female hero movies and totally bomb. Catwoman, Electra, and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider all failed to bring box office gold, maybe Black Widow will finally be the one to do just that.
Hawkeye doesn’t have a movie yet either. Reckon him and Black Widow should do at least one together, if not 2 separate ones.
