Scarlett Johansson Talks Black Widow At Comic Con 2009

Scarlett Johansson, 24, was out for Day 3 of Comic Con 2009 at the San Diego Convention Center over the weekend where she talked Iron Man 2 and her skintight catsuit for her role as the Russian spy Black Widow.

Of her training regimen for the film she told People Mag:

“I kicked some major butt.  It was many, many, hours, days, and months of stunt training and strength training, but it’s fun because I had a goal. The goal was the Lycra catsuit.”

And when asked if she was happy with the results she replied:

“Finally I was, yes.  You put that much work into something and you put it on and you better be happy with it.”

“It was crazy to see it for the first time – everything all zipped up and all the weapons in there, bracelets on, the whole look. It was pretty sweet, I have to say.”

And on the impression it made:

“Certainly walking on set, because a lot of the people that worked on the film were fans of the comic and of course they knew the Black Widow – they were all super excited to see the Black Widow.  When everybody in the crew were like, ‘That looks awesome!’ I knew. Like, ‘Okay.’ “

On another note, I still think it’s so strange that her and Ryan Reynolds are married.  They are very rarely seen together, that doesn’t help.
