Sarah Palin Takes Prank Phone Call

Sarah Palin took a prank call from a couple Canadian comedians posing as French President Nicolas Sarkozy and was on the phone for 6 minutes. Listen to the prank in the YouTube video above!The comedians, Marc-Antoine Audette and Sebastien Trudel, are known as the Masked Avengers and are notorious for these types of prank calls to heads of state and celebrities.
The Republican vice presidential nominee discussed politics, the perils of hunting with Vice President Dick Cheney, and Sarkozy’s “beautiful wife,” in the telephone call released Saturday.
When the caller told Palin she would make a good president, she laughed and replied: “Maybe in eight years.”
When Audette finally told her she had been pranked, she turned the call over to her assistant her then hung up. A statement was issued, it reads:
“Governor Palin received a phone call on Saturday from a French Canadian talk show host claiming to be French President Nicholas Sarkozy. Governor Palin was mildly amused to learn that she had joined the ranks of heads of state, including President Sarkozy, and other celebrities in being targeted by these pranksters. C’est la vie.”

Thank God it wasn’t a “real” call. I can’t imagine the many different
scenarios that could have made this very dangerous to the American
people. Too many red flags went unnoticed on this one — I can’t spin
positively.
