Sanjaya Booed At Baseball Game

Is the Sanjaya Malakar bubble bursting? He, his friends, and his ego were spotted at a Dodgers/Padres baseball game in Los Angeles on April 13th. They were enjoying themselves until he was met with quite a reaction from the crowd when he was shown on the big screen….
“He was just sitting there having a good time with his friends, just like a regular person,” an eyewitness who was at the game tells Star. “And when the Dodger camera noticed him the camera guy ran over and taped him. Sanjaya’s face pops up on the big screen right away. At first he smiled, he seemed to like the attention. But when the entire crowd at the stadium started to boo–and it was loud!–his smile faded a bit and his eyes looked sad. It’s like he was trying to keep a fake smile on, but you could tell he was crestfallen. He just kept waving and smiling for a few seconds more then his image went off the screen.”

Awww, that’s so sad. I don’t care if you like Sanjaya or not, that’s so disrespectful. Poor kid is trying his hardest every week on that show.
By the way, I heard his “friends” were other contestants: Phil and someone else. So maybe the boos weren’t just for Sanjaya but for all the AI folks.

People who have nothing better to do than “hate” on a 17 year old kid who has done nothing to them need to get a life. He made it on Idol because the Judges put him through to begin with. And I don’t believe that Taylor Hicks was the best last year either, but he won. So get over it and move on!

Aww, i feel so sorry 4 him. He’s not a bad singer at all, and people are just so hard on him. Let’s see his critics go out there and sing themselves. I have a feeling it wouldnt go too well.

When I first saw Sanjaya…I wasn’t sure if he was a guy, or a really UGLY girl. I say he’s off the show by next week. Why is he even popular in the first place? Is he still on the show because he’s so terrible that people feel sorry for him? Simon is doing a great job…somebody’s gotta tell the truth.

This is so sad. I don’t think he should win AI and I hope he gets voted off, but I would never boo a 17 year-old kid at a baseball game or anywhere else. I wish people weren’t such jerks.
