Ron Artest Signing With The Lakers

It appears the rumors are true.  In a phone interview with CBSSports.com on Thursday, Ron Artest confirmed that he’s signing with the Lakers.

He says:

“I’m definitely going to L.A. — to sign, yeah.  Lakers, Lakers, Lakers. I’m in L.A. right now.”

Artest added that he met with the Lakers owner Dr. Jerry Buss on Thursday and had previously spoken with Lakers coach Phil Jackson.
