Robert Pattinson Says ‘Music Is My Backup Plan’
January 5, 2009

Twilight hunk Robert Pattinson feels comfortable enough that if the acting thing doesn’t work out for him he will fall back onto his love of music.
He told the LA Times:
“Music is my backup plan if acting fails. I don’t want to put all my eggs in one basket.”
The British actor, who contributed two songs to the film, one of which, “Never Think,” made it to the official soundtrack, has revealed Eminem was his idol when he was 12 years old and “really into rap,” and mentioned others like Jay Kay from Jamiroquai.
Although he wants to be clear he’s not looking to get a music career going at this time:
“That’s what I was scared about, it looks like I’m trying to get a music career out of it or something. I’m not going to be doing any music videos or anything.”

ROBERT CAN TOTALLY MAKE IT IN MUSIC. I HAD TO CHOKE BACK TEARS WHEN I HEARD HIS
SONG TO ROAM. I FEEL IT WAS VERY HEARTFELT AND I COULD TOTALY RELATE
TO THE LYRICS. AT THIS POINT I THINK ROB CAN PRETTY MUCH DO ANYTHING
IN THE ENTERTAINMENT BUISNESS AND THAT INCLUDES WRHITING.
