Ricky Gervais Slams Kim Kardashian During Golden Globes Opening Monologue

 

Ricky Gervais took aim at Kim Kardashian in particular during his opening monologue for the Golden Globes Sunday night with several jokes directed towards her.

“The Golden Globes are to the Oscars what Kim Kardashian is to Kate Middleton, actually: a bit louder, a bit trashier, a bit drunker and more easily bought,” he stated.

He also mentioned her very short marriage:

“A marriage that lasted seventy two days, I’ve sat through longer James Cameron acceptance speeches than that,” he added.

Wow, wonder what he has against Kim in particular. I thought it was all pretty funny and he seemed a little nicer this time around.
