Rebecca Romijn, 36,  shows off her 5-month-old twin girls Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip for InStyle’s June 2009 which hits stands today.

On her decision to show off her babies in the mag:
“What girls wouldn’t want to be featured in InStyle? We figured they would be happy with this choice in 18 years.”

On her weight and how she feels lately: “I feel as sexy as I have ever felt. I’m a jeans size up from where I usually am, but there’s nothing about it that freaks me out—I’ve always said that sexy is having a really strong sense of yourself and never taking yourself too seriously.”

On Jerry O’Connell exceeding her expectations as a father:
“He’s got endless amounts of energy, and he’s having such a blast with these girls.  He’s determined not to let them ever date while he is alive.”

On the twins: “They are yummy, aren’t they? [Dolly is] all baby and wants to have one-on-one relationships with people. [But Charlie] is always looking around. She can’t wait to be out of this baby body because she’s got a lot to do… Dolly looks just like me, and Charlie looks like Jerry. We got one of each.”

On the twins fashion:
“I know they’re going to have a lot to say by the time they turn 2, so until then I get to dress them however I want.”

And she says her current child style icon is Madonna’s daughter Lourdes:
“She’s doing new wave postmodern Punky Brewster geek chic. She’s one to watch.”
