Rashad Evans Is The New Light-Heavy Weight Champ

Rashad Evans defeated Forrest Griffin (2:46 into the 3rd round) and has become the light heavyweight champion.
Evans remained undefeated with a third-round TKO over popular UFC light-heavyweight champion Forrest Griffin.
Evans took Griffin down to the mat by grabbing his right leg during the first minute of the third round. Just seconds later, he unleashed a flurry of blows punctuated by seven lefts to Griffin’s jaw that led to the fight being stopped and Evans becoming the new champ.
Other UFC results: Quinton “Rampage” Jackson KO’d Wanderlei Silva in the first round.
Yushin Okami defeated Dean Lister, Antoni Hardonk stopped Mike Wessel,
Matt Hamill knocked out Reese Andy, Brad Blackbur won a decision over Ryo Chonan and Pat Berry defeated Dan Evensen by TKO in the first round.
