Rachel Bilson is the cover girl for the March issue of Cosmopolitan Australia, on sale February 4th. Inside her interview with the mag the 31-year-old ‘Hart of Dixie’ star chats about fashion, her personal style and offers suggestions to improve your own closet.

Check out some highlights below:

On picking out the perfect shades for summer: “I have a smaller face, so Wayfarers work because they have a small frame. If you want to try big ’60 frames, you kind of an angular face and a good nose.”

On her top style tip:  “Wear what makes you happy, and don’t put too much thought into it. You can’t pay attention to criticism, it’s not healthy.”

On her personal style: “I really just like to throw things together and be comfy. I’m a casual dresser. I enjoy mixing and matching and layering – just throwing things together. So it’ll be a mash-up.”

On her best-kept fashion secret: “I know nude shoes really help my child-size legs. You know, it helps in that area – you learn little things like that.”
