Prince Harry And Chelsy Davy Split

Britain’s Prince Harry, 24, and his girlfriend of five years Chelsy Davy, 23, have broken up just three weeks after they spent a romantic vacation together in the Indian Ocean nation of Mauritius.

A palace source tells People:

“They are remaining friends. There have been all sorts of reasons given [for the split] but suffice it to say they felt that it had run its course.”

According to the British newspaper News of the World, Davy made the decision to break up after tiring of the prince’s flirting.

A source tells the paper that despite making the decision Davy is ‘distraught’ at the split saying:

“She has simply had enough. They have been going through what she calls a ‘rough patch’ and she didn’t see the point in going on.

“Their lives have been moving in different directions. Chelsy is about to embark on a career in law and being a royal girlfriend can be quite limiting.”

Chelsy also helped to confirm the split by changing her Facebook relationship status to: “Not in One.”
