Police searching for William Balfour in Jennifer Hudson’s mother and brother deaths

In a new update to what we previously reported about Jennifer Hudson’s mother and brother. Police are searching for William Balfour, whom they claim could be with the missing 7 year old boy. TMZ is now reporting that according to records, Balfour listed Hudson’s mother’s address as a place of residence within the last year. According to the Illinois Department of Corrections website, Balfour is currently on parole after serving jail time for attempted murder.

A WBBM reporter is stating that neighbors have said a family member in the Hudson household tried to steal a car a few weeks ago, an argument ensued, and he vowed revenge. A photo at Julia’s MySpace page posted prior to today’s events alludes to some kind of dispute with William over a car.
UPDATE: William Balfour, the estranged husband of Hudson’s sister, Julia, is in custody but isn’t talking. In a cryptic statement, a Chicago PD spokeswoman said investigators are talking to “a number of people in custody.” She didn’t explain further.
The Cook County Medical Examiner just told us both Jennifer Hudson’s mother, Darnell Donerson, and brother, Jason Hudson, each suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
Police said there appeared to be defensive wounds on one of the victims, suggesting at least one of the shootings involved domestic violence.
William Balfour’s mom, Michele Davis-Balfour, refuses to believe he had a part in yesterday’s double murder, saying,
“Out of no means did my son do this. This heinous crime to this family is unbelievable. It’s unbearable.”
Michele went on to voice her concern for Hudson’s missing nephew Julian King to CNN affilitate WLS:
“Whoever has Jennifer Hudson’s nephew or Julia Balfour’s son, please, I’m begging you, me and my family are begging you to return that son.”

It is a damn shame this man has cause hurt and pain to this young lady
she was on the right path in her life with the help of her mother and
you take that away from her. Her mother encourage her all the way and was
very proud of her and all she has done. then you take the baby and hide
with him and you call your punk ass a man, shooting a woman in her head
and an unarmed man in his chest. You hide now but not for long punk ass
niger. You will be found and justice will be served, count on that and
I hope you get life in prison so you can rot in prison and think about
each day how you took thoses people life instead of walking away sucker a
ass niger.

Yes, William Balfour is Jennifer Hudson’s sisters husband.
What an awful tragedy. I feel so terribly for the family.
Balfour was paroled in 2006 after convictions of attempted murder,
vehicular hijacking and receiving stolen property.
So horrible.

jackie stewart…..im glad u have deep sympathy for the family and feel their pain….we all should be praying for their family. honestly though, using words like u do is not only a disgrace but an insult to everyone else who reads ur blog. the man who did WILL be held accountable one way or another and i do agree w you…hes wrong for what he did. please dont add insult to injury though

unfortunate. When will human beings start having respect for each other’s lives. None of us have the right to take the life of another person. This crime is ridiculous, brazen and dispicable and he will get what is coming to him. But the Lord WILL bring justice and He will certainly jude this man for his sins on earth. Jennifer it breaks my heart this had to happen to you and I hope that you hold your head up high. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
