Pipe Bomb Causes Hillsdale High School To Be Evactuated

Students at Hillsdale High school in California are being evacuated and classes are being canceled after an explosion went off at the school.

There are no reports of injuries.

The AP is reporting that San Mateo police Lt. Mike Brunicardi said officers received several calls just after 8 a.m. Monday from teachers and staff reporting some kind of explosion at Hillsdale High School.

He added that students evacuated immediately to a nearby middle school.

It’s being claimed that a pipe bomb was the cause of the blast and a bomb squad is searching the school for any other explosive devices.

Hillsdale High School has 1,200 students and is starting its second week of classes for this new school year.
