Poor Paris. She sure isn’t having a very good start to the new year.
Towards the end of the year her home was broken into and now according to computer-security researchers at ScanSafe, her website ParisHilton.com was hacked and infected with a series of page codes which redirect visitors to another Web Site which downloads “malware” viruses, that then tries to obtain login information to their online bank accounts.
On Wednesday Garry Scott, a spokesman for computer safety consultant ScanSafe, said:
“Some parts of Paris Hilton’s website were infected with malware, a nasty bit of viruses and spyware that can try to access your computer and get bank records and credit card numbers.”
