Oscar Nominations Are In

The 2009 Oscar Nominations were announced this morning.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button led the nominees with a total of 13 nominations, including Best Picture, Best Actor, Supporting Actress, Director and Screenplay.

Slumdog Millionaire came in second for most noms with 10.

Heath Ledger got his well deserved nomination for Best Supporting Actor.  He dies one year ago today.

The 81st Academy Awards will be broadcast live on Sunday, Feb. 22, from Hollywood’s Kodak Theatre at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. Hugh Jackman will host.
