Oprah Winfrey Chris Brown Feud
September 10, 2009

Chris Brown and Oprah Winfrey have been going back and fourth in a feud regarding the assault that took place on February 8 with former girlfriend Rihanna.
Brown recently commented that Winfrey should have been more supportive of him following the incident.
Of Oprah’s March show devoted to domestic violence, which was “dedicated to all the Rihanna’s of the world” Brown tells People Magazine:
“I commend Oprah on being like, ‘This is a problem,’ but it was a slap in my face.
I did a lot of stuff for her, like going to Africa and performing for her school. She could’ve been more helpful, like, ‘OK, I’m going to help both of these people out.’”
In an interview with Access Hollywood, Oprah addressed Brown’s comments, saying:
“I’m still very happy that he came to the school, still very happy about that. Two separate issues. So when Chris Brown issued a statement saying that he felt that I, because he had come to my school I should have, you know, been defending him… They’re two separate issues. I really am grateful that he came to the school.”
Then adding:
“Domestic violence is something that I wouldn’t tolerate. Period.”
