Oprah Winfrey Addicted To Cocaine In The 80′s?

According to an ex-boyfriend, Oprah Winfrey was addicted to cocaine in the 80′s.
In a tell-all book by Randolph Cook titled, “The Wizard of O: My Life with Oprah,” he alleges that during his 6 months secret love affair with the star, Oprah had been using cocaine regularly and was in fact under the influence during her show tapings.
Oprah did confessed on her hit talk show that she briefly tried cocaine in the 70s, blaming it on her obsession with a drug dealer, but Cook calls BS and claims that she resumed the habit during their love affair, which began in 1984. Also adding that Oprah was the one who taught him how to smoke crack cocaine.
Her ex-lover has been diagnosed with esophageal cancer and says that he only has two years to live. He blames Oprah for his problems and wants his story told before he dies.
The National Enquirer is backing up Cook’s claims by saying that during their investigation in 2007, a 17-page court document was discovered at the National Archives and Records Administration in Chicago.
The document, entitled “Defendant Oprah Winfrey’s Answer to Plaintiff’s Amended Complaint at Law,” reveals that she had sexual relations with Cook and that the two used cocaine in each other’s presence.
Cook writes:
“Americans have placed Oprah on a pedestal that has been seemingly invincible until now.”
I sense an upcoming lawsuit on this one…..

So what if she used cocaine anymore everything is a money issue and all people want anymore is publsity to make money .All the sudden this guy decides he going to put it in a book. Absolutely sucks.

people should learn how to spell if they are going to comment…I think if she has done cocaine in the past…then that is the past and she is not to blame for her ex-lover’s fate, but I do question all the drastic weight changes and the the so called “diets”…could it be a little help from a friend?

This upsets me…as Oprah is one of the kindest people in the world, is this man so lonely that the only thing he has to do with his life is to slate one of the most iconic figures in America today. I’m from Scotland and I watch Oprah’s show all the time and she inspires me every day.
If this is true it will not make me think any less of Oprah, this makes me think that this was obviously a horrible time in her life and the main thing is she got passed it and look where she is now and what she has accomplished…A WOMEN WHO TRULEY INSPIRES THE WORLD!

Oprah faced her demons years ago. She admitted to using crack-cocaine on her show. This is old news no one cares about.

Leave my sister alone, since the Oprah Show, I’ve loved her spirit and watched her everyday for many years. This past decade or so I’ve had to bring me to myself, so regularly scheduled programs were on my agenda. Today, I found that my girl has had her bout(s) with cocaine, I say, “Praise God for keeping her”. Even if she is smoking cocaine today, I will still love and respect her. Oprah, your latter shall be greater than your former, so get ready, God’s desire is to make you whole. The process of true healing has already started, I thank God for the gift of your new found sister, you will both be a blessing to each other, be true to yourself and let God do the rest. I Love You and will be praying for you.

Opraha Winfrey makes her living exposing other peoples lives, this is her story and her past come to life. As people should we not be so informed of who we would celebritize as well. While I agree everyone is only human but this revelation just brings alittle more of the human condition we all live with, and not just the glitz and glamour aspects we have all been presented with from her platform. I do not think anything less or more of her for this, just brings her closer to earth and less off the pedestal of her life.
