Did they design his set with a light bright?

Sounds like typical Larry King banter, or really, the thing I’d hear asked on any talk show. Jerry really came off to me as an asshole here.

It seems to me that Larry asked the question as a softball question to Jerry. Just because Seinfeld was the number 1 show does not mean that everyone watched it or saw it. Perhaps Larry was simply asking the question as someone who never saw Seinfeld. I personally love Seinfeld and think Jerry is a great comedian, but he seemed to be a bit pretentious here.

haha jerry took a bit too far no? maybe theres more than meets the eye on the sieinfeld thing hahaha. jerry looks so hurt when larry asked that Q. hahaha
November 3rd, 2007 at 5:02 pm
if you see that banner before you can see that he was asking if the show got canceled and not just a questions so viewers understand incase they didn’t know.
November 3rd, 2007 at 5:53 pm
Jerry was completely rude. He is a smug entertainer and assumes everyone has watched his show. Get a grip Jerry! Your not as big of a deal as you think. Larry has been around a long time and has more respect in the entertainment industry than Jerry ever will!!!!

larry king is a horrible interviewer. i would bet anything he was asking for his own edification and not for a softball question. i am not sure if he is senile or just dumb. when he interviewed paris hilton after she got out of jail, one of his questions was “did you learn anything about yourself from being in jail?” the ever-articulate paris thought for a moment and said simply “yes.” THEN KING CHANGED THE SUBJECT TO FOOD. someone with half a brain might have had a follow-up question, but not this tv-tard.

I remember that Larry King interviewed the Dalai Lama and asked him something about His Holiness’ belief in God and the Lama simply replied that he didn’t believe in God (like all Buddhists). ANd then Larry King got suprised: “Oh, you don’t believe in God.”
Larry King is a fucking ignoramus.
November 3rd, 2007 at 6:57 pm
I think it was a bit friendlier than it comes off. Larry King actually has a part in the Bee Movie as Bee Larry King and interviews Seinfeld’s character in the movie. He acts clueless about the human Larry King in that bit.

I like the Seinfield show…
but on the personal level, Jerry Seinfield is an arrogant douche!
My sister used to work at the Arizona Inn and Jerry stopped there and started smoking a cigar in a no smoking section. When she asked him politely to put it out (as it was bothering the guests) he gave the same pompis “Do you know who I am?” line he gave Larry King and blew smoke in her face.
If I saw him in person, I’d kick him in the nuts.

I think that Larry was trying to say that Jerry was a powerful individual. He was able to shit can a network. Usually it’s the other way around. Jerry didn’t want to go there so he made Larry look like a dumbass.
November 3rd, 2007 at 9:37 pm
Seinfield obviously has some self esteem issues. Either that or having a bad day.
November 3rd, 2007 at 9:42 pm
I’m a big fan of Seinfeld (and ambivalent on King), but come on guys, King was just serving up the question in a polite way.
He was simply handing off the ball to Jerry to talk more about the decision to bring the the show to an end. It wasn’t a question, as much as a prompt. As much as I like Seinfeld I must say he came off looking kind of like a prick.

whoa there jerry, i like watching reruns of seinfeld…try not to kill that for me
November 3rd, 2007 at 10:23 pm
Wow, I think I just lost a bit of respect for Jerry. I love seinfeld, but he came as pretty damn arrogant.
November 3rd, 2007 at 11:13 pm
Larry King and his staff do a horrendous job preparing for his interviews. If King really wanted to press Jerry on a rumor that NBC canceled the show, not Seinfeld, he did a horrible job of putting the opening question together.
King is so out of touch with modern culture. He really should have retired in the 90s.

Jerry is a pompous prick. Just another money grubbing jew that throws whatever inflated sense of clout he thinks he has around to be the big dick. Well guess what - Seinfeld wasn’t near as funny as your big Shylock nose and your small receded gum baby chicklet teeth. Go drive one of your many “collector’s” porches off a bridge you schmuck.

The very fact that CNN is hanging on this Larry, as how he is barely hanging on to his arms - tells so many things.
What a stupid question - I think he had some stupid grudge that he has waiting to let out.
Its a mistake of Jerry to be in his show.
November 4th, 2007 at 1:16 am
Larry is just going through the motions at this stage of his career… Seinfeld is just toying with him for fun. No hard feelings. Probably if we were to view the full interview, you could tell this better.
November 4th, 2007 at 1:30 am
Larry King is an ignorant assface. Jerry Seinfeld is an arrogant asswipe. Put them both together on the same set, and whatever idiocy ensues is your own goddamn fault for watching.
Plus those fucking Scientologists are the world’s worst pricks–everyone knows that.
November 4th, 2007 at 2:02 am
Get over yourself Jerry, some of us don’t even find you that funny, actually I think your a pretentious asshole.
November 4th, 2007 at 2:26 am
Oh my God Jerry sounded like a total asshole.. like how insecure can somebody get ?
Larry King is way bigger than Jerry’s Show anyway..
and he’s still on the air.. has been for two decades..
November 4th, 2007 at 2:43 am
Jerry is proud of himself, nothing wrong with that.
November 4th, 2007 at 2:43 am
Oh please stop cow towing Larry and think about the question for a minute. Is this ‘charming banter’ really worth any viewer’s time, much less Seinfeld’s? I don’t blame Jerry one bit. Seinfeld has had to answer questions about his show for nearly 10 years since he left it, which would drive anyone crazy, and this had to be the most inane one of all.
Good for Jerry for calling out an asinine question from a man who really ought to enjoy his remaining years without making the rest of us suffer
November 4th, 2007 at 9:33 am
besides the fact that jerry was obviously just messing with him, you guys need to realize it was a really stupid question on larry’s part. jerry is justified.
most people would let it slide, but i mean jerry’s legacy is based on seinfeld and so that kind of question would be pretty insulting.
November 4th, 2007 at 1:27 pm
I didn’t see the entire enterview with Seinfeld. However, the Video that has been shown shows another side of Seinfeld thats a real turn off. I really don’t think Larry meant to offend Jerry and instead of showing respect Jerry goes off on Him? I think it was inconsiderate to respond that way. I would have thought he is a better person than the way he acted in this interview. Shame on you Jerry.

To Benjamin (#19):
Funny that you make those bigotted , personal-attacking Jew remarks when your name is one of the tribes of the Jews. haha.
Your pea sized brain is showing its puny power.
November 5th, 2007 at 5:35 pm
Anyone who thinks Seinfeld is an ass for how he acted, doesn’t get his humor. Did you never watch his show? He was known for “going off” on people, as did the Elaine and George characters. It’s freaking funny!
November 5th, 2007 at 9:22 pm
Thank you, Rebekah. Anyone who thinks Jerry S would probably have given who ever a large tip in the resturant. One of you dipshizzles that say “he came off like an ass” don’t get comedy.
November 6th, 2007 at 9:55 am
Seinfeld seems like a nasty guy inside. He learned techniques to manipulate emotion and thought and audiences and believes he is a master of the universe.
Reminds me a little of Bing Crosby: amazingly talented but with a mask. As a child I was scared of Bing Crosby. He seemed so phony I thought he could be a child molester.
November 13th, 2007 at 2:32 am
Larry has said (bragged) he has never done ANY background work on his guests. Jerry just was just sticking that comment to him. Do you know who I am so funny, classic. Larry is a fool.
December 3rd, 2007 at 7:03 am
Yeah… I personally never got into Seinfeld. I actually thought it was kind of a lame show. Larry just asked a misguided question and Jerry was being a prick about it. “Do you know who I am” Shut the hell up you self important pretentious douche bag.
