Olympic Gold Medalist Shawn Johnson Does Letterman

Gold medal-winning gymnast Shawn Johnson stopped by the ‘Late Show with David Letterman’ in New York last night to chit-chat about her experience at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics. (see video below)
She was originally on her way home to Iowa but decided to make a stop with Letterman first before making her way back to her home town. She will be back in time for a free public event Tuesday night at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.
The spunky Olympian won one gold (balance beam) and three silver medals (team, all-around and uneven bars floor) at this years Olympics.
I’m sure we will see her back and bringing home more gold for the 2012 Olympics in London.

Has to be the cutest little girl there ever was. That perpetual smile is so captivating. Her parents have got to be so proud…and America is proud of her,too.

she got silver for the floor exercise, not the uneven bars (she didn’t even compete on that one).
