Nic Cage Is A False-Toothed, Drunken Dog Thief

 

Kathleen Turner is bringing up the not so pretty past and accusing her Peggy Sue Got Married co-star Nicolas Cage of drunk driving and theft of a dog and she even makes fun of his ‘false teeth’ in her new autobiography Send Yourself Roses. 

In the book she insists while filming the 1986 comedy, Cage went to great lengths to disobey his uncle and the director of the film, Francis Ford Coppola.  Even as far as getting into trouble with the police while filming.

Turner writes, “Everything Francis wanted him to do, he went against to show that he wasn’t under his uncle’s wing. Which was ridiculous. Oh, that stupid voice of his and the fake teeth! Honestly, I cringe to think about it. He caused so many problems. He was arrested twice for drunk driving and, I think, once for stealing a dog. He’d come across a Chihuahua he liked and stuck it in his jacket.”

Just this past Friday (Feb. 8,2008) Cage, has issued libel proceedings against Turner at the High Court in London.  A spokesman for the actor says, “The libel action follows false allegations that appear in the forthcoming autobiography. As legal proceedings have been commenced, it would be inappropriate to comment further.”

Well, this may push him a bit closer to quitting.
