Miss Mexico Jimena Navarrete Crowned Miss Universe 2010

 

The Miss Universe pageant was held last night (Monday, August 23) in Las Vegas with hosts Natalie Morales and Bret Michaels.

22-year-old Miss Mexico Jimena Navarrete was crowned Miss Universe 2010.  After taking it all in she said:

“I want the whole world to know about my country and my people.  I imagine that they’re all going crazy in Mexico right now. I’m extremely proud and I’m sure they’re very proud, too.”
