Mindy McCready And 5 Year Old Son Missing

Mindy McCready, 36, and her 5-year-old son are currently missing after the country singer reportedly took her son away from the custody of her mother in Florida.
ET writes:
A spokesman for the Department of Children and Families said a missing persons report was filed Tuesday night with police in Cape Coral, FL, after McCready took her son Zander from her father’s home. The singer’s mother has custody of the child, but McCready was allowed to visit the boy at her father’s home.
The DCF requested an emergency pickup order and a judge has ordered McCready to return the boy by 5 p.m. on Thursday.
McCready was very successful in the ’90s, but her career went downhill later after reports of by domestic abuse issues, drug and DUI arrests and a suicide attempt.
We hope everything turns out ok and the little guy gets found safe and sound.
