Michael Jackson To Announce Concert Dates Thursday

Thursday is the big day for Michael Jackson fans.  According to U.K. reports, the pop legend is planning to unveil plans for a 30-date residency at London’s O2 Arena.

There has been speculation since last year that the King of Pop would be putting on a 30 day show and that has now been confirmed.

It is also rumored that Jackson, 50, will appear in person when the official announcement is made Thursday in London at the 02.

This is huge news.  His last major tour was in 1996, and his most recent album, Invincible, was released eight years ago in 2001.

Reports have suggested the residency could pull in $214.5 million, netting MJ a huge $7.15 million pay check per show.
