Michael Jackson Autopsy Picture Leaked?

With the wonderful news of Michael Jackson’s ‘This Is It’ premiering this week and doing amazing in the box office comes the awful news that a photo has allegedly been leaked that was taken during his autopsy.

The Daily Beast reporter Gerald Posner says he recently received a phone call from someone who is claiming to have a photograph of the late King of Pop on the autopsy table.

Posner’s source, who claims to have seen the alleged photo, reports that the image is “not a cellphone picture,” because the “quality was far too good.”

The photo as “shocking” as Jackson lays there on his back, eyes wide open, skull shaved.  They also say the picture was taken at a 30-degree angle toward the left side of the corpse.

Whether the Michael Jackson Autopsy Picture is real or not, Chief Coroner Ed Winter told Posner:

“I know who was there and I know what pictures were taken,” he told me. If he saw a copy of the photo being flashed in Los Angeles, he could determine, he said, whether it was authentic—the left cheek scar was potentially important, as even if it was faked, there would be few people outside of Jackson’s entourage who knew about that private, identifying mark.

If the picture is real, “we would conduct an internal investigation here, and one would be done in all likelihood by the police department and the district attorney.”
