Michael Douglas Visits Letterman

A much thinner Michael Douglas stopped by the Late Show With David Letterman last night where he talked about the recent news that he has throat cancer.
Douglas revealed he faces an “eight-week struggle” against Stage 4 throat cancer but is optimistic about his chances for recovery, which he says he has an 80% chance for a full recovery.
The 65-year-old actor said he just finished his first week of radiation and chemotherapy, adding that with the coming weeks of treatment his voice may change and it could become impossible to swallow solid food.
Douglas kept an upbeat attitude saying that despite his throat cancer being Stage 4, it has not spread down below his throat.
