Miami Heat’s Michael Beasley Has Entered Rehab

Yahoo! Sports has reported that Miami Heat’s Michael Beasley has entered rehab and is being treated for depression-related issues at a Houston rehabilitation facility.
The AP adds that Beasley checked into the facility last week and it’s unknown how long he will remain there, or whether he will be available when the Heat open training camp on Sept. 28.
On Friday he posted the above photo on his Twitter page showing off his new tattoo. The picture also shows what appeared to be a small plastic bag on a table, the contents of which were unclear.
He also posted the following Tweets the same day:
On Friday afternoon, Beasley had a very public meltdown via Twitter in which some of the following quotes were attributed to his account.
“Y do I feel like the whole world is against me…I can’t win for losin.”
“Feelin like it’s not worth livin!!!!!!! I’m done.”
It’s unknown if Beasley was already in rehab when the photograph was posted.
His account has since been closed.
A posting on on Michael Beasley Sr.’s Twitter feed read:
“What Michael Jr. is going (through) is just a bump on the road we call life. Please pray for him, he needs it.”
