Mel Gibson And Girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva Expecting A Baby This Fall

Just six weeks after his wife Robyn filed for divorce after 28 years of marriage, Mel Gibson, 53, is announcing he and his Russian musician girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, 39, are expecting.  (This will be his 8th child)

A friend tells People:

“He couldn’t be happier.  He loves being a father.”

Grigorieva is in her second trimester and due in the late fall.

Gibson has seven children with his ex Robyn, the youngest being 10-years-old and Oksana already has a son, Alexander, with her former boyfriend, actor Timothy Dalton.

Mel confirmed the news during his 21st guest appearance on Monday night’s Tonight Show.   It started out with Leno joking with Gibson about dating a younger woman saying, “What, is she 17, 18?“  Gibson replied that she was almost 40 and “now I am going to have two women mad at me!” Leno then said, “The rumor I have heard is that you guys are going to have a child?” Gibson then confirmed, “This is true. We’re gonna have a child.”

Leno jokes, “So that will make 29? ” And Gibson responded, “Well, actually eight. I guess I’m Octo-Mel.”

Very interesting….But Congrats are in order, so Congrats to Mel and Oksana…
