Medical Examiner Confirms DJ AM Died Of An Accidental Drug Overdose
September 29, 2009

The NYC Medical Examiner’s office officially ruled today that Adam Goldstein’s aka DJ AM’s cause of death was from an accidental drug overdose. They say he had a number of different drugs in his system at the time of his death.
Medical Examiner spokeswoman Ellen Borakove told People:
“We’ve done the testing and investigation in conjunction with the NYPD and in our opinion this was an accidental overdose rather than suicide.”
Borakove said the drugs in his system included cocaine(not sure if it was crack or powder), Levamisole (an drug commonly used to cut cocaine), oxycodone, hydrocodone (a powerful pain reliever), and Ativan, Klonapin and Xanax, all anti-anxiety drugs.
Borakove did not say whether he had a prescription for any of the drugs in his system.
Man that’s a lot of different drugs at once…

Such a sad death, its too bad when people get desperate and feel they need
to turn to substances.
