Madonna Tops The List Of The Highest-Grossing Tours Of The U.S In 2008

Madonna is ending 200 with a bang! Her Sticky + Sweet world tour was the highest-grossing U.S. show of 2008.
According to Pollstar magazine, The Material Girl star’s series of shows in North America raked in $105.3 million.
Celine Dion came second in the list, taking in $94 million on her first U.S. tour since her five-year residency in Las Vegas, and The Eagles took third with more than $73 million for their series of dates.
Fourth and fifth place for the top five highest-grossing tours of the U.S. in 2008 was rounded out by country singer Kenny Chesney with $72 million and Bon Jovi with $70 million.
