Lindsay Lohan Arrested For Her DUI

 

Lindsay Lohan has been formally arrested in her DUI case from May. She took a break from her alcohol free club spree she’s been on since leaving rehab to quietly turn herself in last night. She was released on $30,000 bail and a court date was set for Aug. 24 in Superior Court in Beverly Hills.

The actress was held in custody for almost an hour around 4 p.m. before being released on her own recognizance on $30,000 bail, a common move for a first time DUI arrest, according to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department web site.

Besides having nearly twice the legal amount of alcohol in her system at the time of the Memorial Day Weekend crash, tests also revealed that Lohan had used cocaine that night, according to officials close to the investigation. Police also alleged they found “a usable amount” of cocaine inside her car.
