Lady Attacked After Jumping Into Polar Bear Exhibit

So apparently a 32-year-old woman thought it would be a great idea to jump into the water with some Polar Bears at a Berlin Zoo DURING FEEDING TIME!!
As to why she dove in, The Daily News says:
It is not known why the woman pulled the dangerous stunt but she initially appeared to be elated as she swam towards a bear in the enclosure.
Oh.My.God.
Six zookeepers’ tried to distract the four Polar Bears that were in the enclosure, but the woman was bitten several times on her arms and legs.
It is not easy to access the enclosure, which is surrounded by a fence, a line of prickly hedges and a wall.
Zoo spokesman Heiner Kloes said that keepers pushed the huge bear away before pulling the woman out.
She was then taken to a hospital for treatment where she is now recovering after undergoing surgery to heal her wounds.

these animals travel hundreds of miles to kill a seal through an ice hole. I don’t think killing Fatty McButterpants in his own swimming pool would be much of a challenge. They were playing with her.

Maybe she has a mental disorder. I really cant imagine
being drunk enough to think jumping into a bear cage would be a
fun time. But she’s lucky, that it was feeding time and that they
were just playing with her… I bet the fish they had was much more tasty.

I can’t stop laughing about this, who in their right mind would do
something like this?..I agree I hope they do fine the crap outta her,
then maybe she wont do it again. Whats wrong with people these days.

If you’re going to make the effort to climb a fence and hedges to jump
into a polar bear exhibit, you deserve what you get! She should also get
a ticket or something. Hopefully the authorities DO NOT punish the bears
for doing only what the know, play and eat.

That is the single greatest thing I have seen this week I wish more
would expose themselves to wild animals. Instead of distracting the
bears the zookeepers should man the cameras, and let nature take its
course. Maybe zoos should install slides into their exhibits to expedite
the whole process.
