Kevin Costner doesn’t want to be involved in a sequel to his 1990 Oscar-winning smash hit Dances With Wolves.  The original film brought in 7 Oscars including Best Director, Best Picture and Best Actor in a Leading Role for Costner

Hollywood gossips claim studio bosses are keen to bring his character back for a follow up. But Costner doesn’t want to be involved.  He tells Moviefone:

”I’m not in it. But I’ve heard that … I don’t think I’m involved. I’m not planning to be involved in any way.”

He only has one movie currently in the works.  It’s the thriller/Horror film The New Daughter which is about a single father who moves his two children to rural South Carolina, only to watch his daughter exhibit increasingly strange behavior.

Without Costner, is there even a point in making a sequel to Dances with Wolves?

Kevin Costner is Dances with Wolves. No other actor can fill his
