Kendra Apologizes To Hef For Outspoken Interview

 

Kendra Wilkinson, 23, is speaking out about her recent interview with Us Weekly where she pretty much bashed Hef, the man who made her who she is.

The former Girl Next Door is apologizing for comments she made about her time spent living at the mansion with fellow girlfriends Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt.

Kendra tells E! News:

“I’m more upset at myself with what I said.”

“I’m really bad at interviews and anyone who knows me knew I meant no harm.”

“I’m a goofball. Mostly I’m very sorry to have hurt Hef. Playboy made me who I am and Hef has done more for me than anyone else.”

Some examples of the things she said: she snuck out of the mansion to have sex, she said their comings and goings were monitored in a book that Hef would look at every morning, she said they were givin an allowance of only $1,000 a week where she added, “I hate putting my hand out, but we couldn’t have jobs other than getting appearance fees.” She also said they weren’t allowed to ever visit their families during the holidays and she added that most days she hardly saw him saying, “I only saw Hef, like, once a day walking through the halls to his office. There were never solo dates. The most we kind of say to each other is, ‘I love you,’ ‘Love you too,’ ‘I hope you have a good day,’ ‘Did you have a good day?‘ “”

K-DUB felt so badafter the interview that she drove up to the mansion to personally apologize to Hefner and the house staff.

When asked how Hef reacted to the controversial article, Wilkinson said he was hurt by what was said:

“Hef understands me better than anyone and loves me no matter what.  I am very thankful for him.”

“I mostly wanted the article to reveal how I am trying to live my life now that I’m engaged to Hank (Baskett).”

 ”I was hoping to come across more conservative and show my fans that I’m growing up naturally.”  She went on to say that Baskett was by her side throughout this entire ordeal. “He made me feel so much better about myself.he’s the best thing to ever happen to me, besides Hef.”

Regarding her relationships with former “girlfriends” Madison and Bridget , Wilkinson said she personally apologized to them as well:

“We are all doing so great these days, everyone is happy and doing their own thing.”

And as for a possible wedding between Hef’s former #1 girlfriend Holly Madison and current love, Mindfreak’s Criss Angel, Wilkinson said she is very happy for them both:

“I like Criss very much and it wouldn’t surprise me at all if they got married.”

“We will all be together forever.”
