Keanu Reeves Talks Aliens

With his remake of the 1950s sci-fi classic The Day the Earth Stood Still ready to be released, Keanu Reeves is talking aliens.
The Matrix actor is convinced there are real visitors from another planet destined to arrive on Earth some day saying:
“How can it be possible that we are the only beings in the universe?
“I don’t know if or when we will get to meet them but it’s absolutely inconceivable that we won’t get to meet them sometime. I honestly think there is more than just this.”

How does that make him a freak? Sure, it’s not exactly a profound statement, but it comes off more, to me, like he was giving a simple answer to a question he’s probably being asked 100 times a day right now with his movie coming out. In fact, this ‘article’ only serves to make the ‘reporter’ look bad, as though he/she didn’t ask good enough questions that would have elicited interesting responses. So, going for a sleazy plan-B, printed what he/she was able to get in an attempt to make Keanu look bad.
