Katherine Heigl And T.R. Knight Leaving Grey’s Anatomy

According to a fellow cast member, Katherine Heigl, 30, and T.R. Knight, 35, (aka Izzie Stevens and George O’Malley) are leaving their hit TV drama, Grey’s Anatomy.

Us Weekly got the insider scoop from James Pickens Jr. (aka Dr. Richard Webber) when they asked him if Heigl is leaving the show.

His reply:

“Yes, she is.

“Wherever Katherine goes, I wish her nothing but the best.”

He also added:

“(Knight is) going too. He just wanted to pursue other career paths.”

The two have both played doctors on the hospital drama since it first aired in 2005.
