Justin Timberlake To Launch New Tequila Called 901

Justin Timberlake is adding another adventure to his already full business portfolio. He is launching a new brand of tequila called 901.
The tequila has been in development for over two years and is set to hit store shelves in early May in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and St. Louis.
When asked for a reason behind the name his spokesperson said:
“901 is that time of night when your evening is ending, but your night is just beginning. It is also a subtle nod to his hometown.” (referring to the area code for Memphis, where Timberlake grew up)

to a drink just if this drink
was made in Jalisco,Mexico..sooo is Justin associated with someone in Mexico
to call Tequila to his new wine?

I hope Justin visited Jalisco Mexico to know where the real tequila is made. The best agave plant to make tequila is in Jalisco Mexico. I’m from a town that is called Arandas Jalisco and is known for the best tequila makers.

To be called “tequila” it HAS to be distilled in Jalisco. Jalisco also just happens to be the best place to grow Blue Agave. There are agave products distilled outside of Jalisco and
they cannot be called tequila.

I think for as much as Justin has done in the past and is now doing,that launching or whatever is so silly.Whats the purpose in it? There isnt anyone that can give a good one.I guarantee that.

He can’t call it 901 and get a patent. Porsche started out with a 901 number configuration for the 911 series, and found out that Peugot owned the right to the number series with a centered zero. Many of the early Porsche 911 part numbers still start with 901.

News for you: He can call legally call it 901 as long as it can be legally proven that it won’t interfere with any other marketing campaigns. Multiple entities can use the same name or slogan as long as they are promoting different items.
Hence why the motto “Live Like You Mean It” can be used as Wisconsin’s new motto regardless of the fact that it is a common phrase in advertising from Bill Romanowski’s line of products all the way to Bacardi’s old motto.

Sammy Hagar’s “Cabo Wabo” is Tequila made in Jalisco, Mexico. If you have the money to build a factory there then you can do whatever you want so it isn’t stupid.

Obviously none of you “posters” are from Memphis. Who cares about Porshe? We are talking about a line of tequilas.
We tequila lovers, especially here in Memphis, are excited about a new release, even if, and especially because, it is being released by our own home grown Justin Timberlake. I appreciate the labeling (name) 901, the only area code for Memphis TN. THE HOME OF ROCK AND ROLL!! Congratulations to Justin. We support Justin in all he does. He’s an incredibly talented individual who has NOT forgotten his roots. (Having said that, I have been to 8 liquor stores in Memphis and only one has heard of it!!!) Advertising works!!! USE IT!!
